Review:

Let’s start by saying Disney holds a special place in my heart I love everything about it and when I saw this advertised I could not have been more excited to go and watch it, so it defiantly had high standards to live up to!

So I went on a Saturday to the afternoon (Second) showing of the movie and it was sold out, thank goodness we booked tickets in advance, otherwise we would have had a couple very upset children (And me of course)!

The film was more than I had expected it to be, the work that had gone into the film you could defiantly see when watching the movie.
The only thing I have the is slightly negative is that it took a bit of time to get used to Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts and Chip, I know, I know, the whole movie got updated but for me it just took a little time to adjust as they were most defiantly changed a lot and me being me found it hard to see them un cartooned (If that makes sense to anyone).

I absolutely loved this film I think all the actors, the actress, and the director did and amazing job for bringing the movie to life. Everyone involved in the making of this movie really did do such a great job!

I think in this remake you do learn a lot more than you did is Disney’s original, which was nice, learning more about Belle’s mother I thought added that extra touch and I’m not going to say too much for the people that have not watched the movie.

I would certainly go and watch Beauty and the Beast again (If I had any friends to go with that is lol) But for now I’m just waiting until it comes out on DVD to be able to watch it whenever I want but in the mean time I will settle for my Beauty and the Beat book 😊

My rating is:

(5 stars)

Thank you for reading.

Will she give up on her dreams or will she write them a happy ending? So… this book is a nice short read, something nice and easy to pick up. I read this on holiday and I wanted something that I could get stuck into but something that wasn’t going to take all my time up if I got stuck into it and to be honest this book did just that I actually finished it in 2 nights. For me personally, I would have liked a bit more background on the characters that are in the book so we could relate to them a bit more. I liked how to story is about a love you once had can turn up at ...

A monster calls by Patrick Ness - Review

A monster calls. By Patrick Ness The bestselling novel about love, loss and hope from the twice Carnegie Medal-winning Patrick Ness, soon to be a major motion picture. Conor has the same dream every night, ever since his mother first fell ill, ever since she started the treatments that don't quite seem to be working. But tonight is different. Tonight, when he wakes, there's a visitor at his window. It’s ancient, elemental, a force of nature. And it wants the most dangerous thing of all from Conor. It wants the truth. Patrick Ness takes the final idea of the late, award-winning writer Siobhan Dowd and weaves an extraordinary and heart-breaking tale of mischief, healing and above all, the courage it takes to survive. Me and my very good friend A little ray of sunshine decided that we were going to do a read along together with this book, so we set up the date that we was going to start and we set 1 chapter per day as we weren't sure about time due to ...
